Daily Weight Loss Affirmations

As single mom’s, we are often so busy taking care of everyone and everything else, that we don’t take care of ourselves. For some of us, that means we forget to eat (lucky ladies!) but for most of us it means we eat too much of the wrong things and collapse on the couch at the end of the day instead of exercising.  If we could just find that enthusiasm and joy, it would be the push we need to do the right thing.

First let me say a little about affirmations.  They really work but you must phrase them correctly and repeat them over and over again.  Keep in mind that affirmations work best when they are

    • Stated in a positive manner
    • Stated as if they have already occurred
    • Have some type of emotion attached to them
    • Repeated over and over again

 

    So here are some of my favorite affirmations for weight loss

    (or my daily weight loss affirmations)

    “Feeling Sexy and Great at 168!”

    “I am a healthy, firm, Bodatious Blond”

    “Every day in every way, I am getting thinner and thinner!”

    “It’s my turn to be shapely and firm!”

    “Healthy and Happy, I’ll run one more ‘lappy’”

    “I am a lean mean sexy machine!”

    “I love to dance, I love to run, getting thin is so much fun!”

    “I’m so thin, I have one chin!”
